This well has been pumping for well over 65 years by my count! My grandmother, who lived on 37th & Temple Ave. used to drive us up there to get water. At that time it was a white fountain that had been erected by “pioneers”! Now it has become a tourist attraction … complete with elbowing and nudging to draw “free” water!
